A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers
Here at Roselea Care Home in Stirling, we always say our residents are VIPs – Very Important People. It’s a wee phrase that means a lot to us, and it’s at the heart of everything we do. But we know we couldn’t do it all without the incredible support of our volunteers and local community. Whether it’s popping in for a chat, helping out with activities, or bringing a bit of fun and energy to the home, they truly make a world of difference to our VIPs and the team.
This January, we wanted to make sure these wonderful people know just how much we appreciate them. So, we organised a special evening of celebration and recognition to say a proper “thank you.” Each volunteer was given a bouquet of flowers and a Certificate of Appreciation as a small gesture of our gratitude. We also laid on a lovely buffet, which gave everyone a chance to relax, enjoy a bite to eat, and spend time together.
It was such a special evening, and it meant so much to our residents to be able to thank the volunteers in person. Our VIPs absolutely love the time they spend with them – you only have to see the smiles on their faces when the volunteers are about to know how much they’re appreciated.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports us throughout the year – from Therapet and Active Stirling to the Trishaw riders, our reminiscence volunteers, and the brilliant high school students who’ve brought so much joy to the home. You’ve all helped make our home an even brighter, happier place, and for that, we’re truly grateful.
Why not come and see what makes Roselea Care Home so special? We’d love to show you around, introduce you to our team, and share how we make life here so full of care, comfort, and community. To book a visit, just give us a call or pop us a message – we can’t wait to welcome you!
