Celebrating 100 Wonderful Years of Catriona
There was a lovely sense of celebration in the air at Roselea Court Care Home as we marked a remarkable milestone for one of our cherished VIPs, Catriona, who turned 100 on 14th June 2025. Born in 1925, Catriona has lived through a century of enormous change, and we're glad she spent her special day with us.
The occasion was made even more special with a formal presentation of a beautifully written 100th Birthday card from His Majesty King Charles and Queen Camilla. The card was personally handed to Catriona by Deputy Lord Lieutenant Pippa, who joined us in recognising this truly rare and significant achievement. The Lord Provost, Elaine, also presented Catriona with a stunning bouquet of flowers, making the moment even more memorable for her and her loved ones.
Catriona spent the afternoon enjoying a relaxed and elegant birthday tea in the home, surrounded by her four daughters and their partners. It was a lovely relaxed gathering that reflected the close family bonds Catriona continues to treasure. The birthday celebrations continued into the weekend, when Catriona was taken to a lovely garden party attended by family and friends.
