Love is in the air at Roselea Court Care Homes this Valentine’s Day

At Roselea Court Care Home, we organised a special Valentine's Day treat for the residents to enjoy the most romantic day of the year with one another. We invited couples to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea and arranged for the ladies to receive wonderful red roses which they loved. 

Staff transformed our home, decorating the dining and lounge area especially with love heart bunting, roses, and Valentine's napkins.

Valentines Day is traditionally associated with romance and love, but our devoted care team and residents wanted to celebrate love in its broader sense of meaning, extending to those who have built relationships within the home, whether it is our care team or fellow residents. 

We understand how each year the day brings mixed emotions for some of our residents who have sadly lost their partners, so our dedicated activities coordinators make sure to go the extra mile for our residents ensuring they celebrate the day with people who care about them and those they care about too.

Our Activities Coordinators work hard on ensuring our residents are never lost with things to do and that we are always looking to celebrate special occasions with one another. We actively encourage our residents to participate in our activities programme as a way of improving and maintaining their social skills and to create new bonds within the home.
