VIPs have access to nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This type of care is for those with more complex medical needs, such as physical impairments, a long-term illness, or end of life care and is provided by our compassionate and caring staff. Each VIP is assigned a nurse who will become a familiar face to them and will respond to any queries or concerns they or their families may have.

We provide each person who lives with us receive a customised care plan that is tailored to their needs and our approach to a continuum of care ensures all plans are adaptable and change in response to a resident’s medical needs. Other attractions and experiences in the surrounding area, such as coming face to face with a variety of wild animals at Blair Drummond Safari Park or feeling the breeze in your hair as you summit a mountain in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, are also accessible and adventures we encourage our residents and their friends and family to enjoy.

Stirling

Often referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’, Stirling is a vibrant city in central Scotland, located on the River Forth. Stirling is a city with a lot to offer its visitors, from historical sites to wonderful nature, impressive architecture to family fun, there is plenty to see and do. Starting with Stirling Castle, a stunning landmark that dates back to the Middle Ages, is one of the largest and most important in Scotland and sits atop a 250ft extinct volcano. Located near where William Wallace fought in the Battle of Stirling Bridge, visitors to Stirling will find Old Stirling Bridge. This easy-to-reach bridge is beautifully designed and is the perfect backdrop to any picture.

Voted as ‘Travellers Choice 2022’ by Trip Advisor, The Old Town Jail is a fascinating place to visit. Just a two-minute walk from Stirling Castle the guided prison tours take its brave guests on a journey through the history of local crime and punishment as they explore the cells before taking in the outstanding views from our rooftop observation tower.

For a fun family day out, Blair Drummond Safari Park. The park is home to over 350 animals – many of which wander freely – including giraffes, lions, elephants, tigers, and meerkats. Families can also spend quality time together at Kings Park; a skate park, sports facilities, walking trails, and a coffee bar make it the perfect place to spend an afternoon.

Falkirk

Dollar Park & the Walled Gardens is based centrally and boasts spectacular flower displays throughout the year, regardless of the season. A large Victorian two-storey mansion can be found within the park’s boundaries, which has its own café and a pirate-themed park so this beautiful part of Falkirk can be enjoyed by all ages.

For train enthusiasts, a visit to Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway is a must. Here, visitors can enjoy a 10-mile scenic return steam train journey along the Forth Estuary. Perth

Located on the banks of the River Tay, visitors to Perth can experience an array of adventures, whether they choose to take a leisurely walk through the countryside or soak up the thriving atmosphere the city offers. This beautiful part of Peth is abundant with wildlife, such as red squirrels, owls and other birdlife.
