At Roselea Court Care Home, we are thrilled to have our own large landscaped gardens, providing residents with the opportunity to wander, get some fresh air, or even play a game of tennis and other outdoor activities. If residents want to spend some time to themselves listening to the peaceful sounds of nature in our outdoor areas or fancy an afternoon tea outside on our outdoor patio with loved ones, this can be arranged.
When the sun is shining, we try to arrange as many outside activities as we can and this includes providing gardening opportunities. Residents who are green-fingered can help to maintain or grow the various plants and flowers throughout our outdoor areas; there is always something a resident can do to help. We encourage our residents to take part in as many outdoor activities as possible in order to improve physical and social well-being.
Summertime at Roselea Court Care Home is the season when we make the most of our garden. We aim to make the most of the dry, warm weather whenever the opportunity arises so that we can host BBQs and outdoor entertainment and events for residents, staff and family members. We also have many amenities on-site such as a putting green and tennis court for residents to be active and enjoy a bit of friendly competitiveness.
In order to guarantee the comfort and overall well-being of our residents, our care home has been intentionally designed to offer a wide range of facilities and services, enabling residents to enjoy a fulfilling life.
We are firm believers in offering our residents regular opportunities to step outdoors, breathe in fresh air, participate in outdoor activities, and be at one with nature. The benefits of spending time outdoors are numerous, ranging from reducing stress and anxiety to enhancing one’s overall mood, cardiovascular health, balance, and muscle strength.
We offer a variety of outdoor activities, such as walking, gardening, lawn games, and putting. When the weather allows, residents can also enjoy meals with their loved ones and enjoy live entertainment and events.
To ensure that our gardens are accessible to everyone, we’ve added wheelchair-accessible paths and comfortable seating for outdoor relaxation. Our garden is equipped with safety features, including fencing and gates, to keep residents safe within the garden’s boundaries.
In our care home located in Stirling, we take great pride in providing a wide range of care services. We firmly believe that each resident deserves access to greatest standards of care while also having the opportunity to engage in their hobbies, explore their interests, and cultivate new friendships.
