We are thrilled to be able to welcome our first residents and visitors to our community in January 2022.

Despite being a new facility, we at Roselea Court Care Home understand the devastating and overwhelming impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had. That is why we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our future residents.

Our primary focus will always be the health and wellbeing of our prospective residents, their families, and our staff, and it is our commitment to everyone in the Roselea Court Care Home community to do everything we can to maintain these high standards.

High Standards of Care, No Matter What

At Roselea Court Care Home, we will be adhering to the government’s guidance and regulations regarding Covid-19, as well as putting measures in place to keep the highest levels of safety and hygiene within our home. Whilst prevention will be a top priority, it is also essential to us that this has little impact on our future residents and the around-the-clock care we will provide them.

It is important that meaningful contact is supported and maintained for residents. There are no limits on how often residents can receive visitors but it must remain safe and manageable for the care home staff and residents themselves and we ask that these are pre-booked. Anyone who visits a care home should take a LFD test, you will be asked to show proof of the recent negative LFD test before visiting. This includes family, friends, children over the age of 12 and visiting professionals. You may take the test at home before you visit or the home can help you to carry out the test when you arrive.

A Fluid Resistant Surgical Mask (FRSM) must be worn wherever possible, and Infection Prevention and Control measures should be followed as instructed by care home staff. Residents, family, and friends are able to plan outings or activities from the care home and are able to do by working together with the care home to arrange.

For prospective residents, to have a tour of the home, it is necessary for this to be pre-booked and for evidence of a negative LFT test to be presented prior to entering the home. This applies to all guests within your party.

At any time, the COVID-19 regulations and guidance from the Government, National and Local Healthcare Agencies may change. For further information, please click here or contact the Home Manager directly.

Roselea Court’s Preventative Measures

At Roselea Court Care Home, we have implemented additional safety measures to guarantee that our future residents may continue to live their lives as they have in the past with minimal disruption. All safety precautions are intended to have as minimal impact as possible on residents and their daily lives; we can reduce the risk of COVID-19 in our community by making a few changes to our home and how we operate.

From keeping up to date with government requirements to providing advice to all residents and their loved ones, our specialists at Roselea Court Care Home prioritise the mental, emotional, and physical health needs of all anticipated residents.

Our Activities Team at Roselea Court Care Home will also be working hard to ensure that our future residents may keep an active social life while adhering to the strictest infection control measures. Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), screen dividers, and sanitization rooms, our employees will be able to continue to provide excellent care.

At Rubislaw Park, the safety of our residents is our number one concern. That’s why we’ve implemented lots of new safety and protective measures within our facility, so that our residents can continue living the life they want to with minimal disruptions.

With these measures in place, we can make a real effort to reduce the rate of infection. By staying up to date with government guidelines and advice regarding social distancing regulations, the teams here are doing everything they can to ensure your loved ones remain mentally, emotionally and physically healthy.

We really value person-centred care, and believe strongly in the power of genuine human connection between our residents and our team members. Due to COVID-19, we have had to adapt out practices to ensure the ongoing safety and wellbeing of everyone in line with local and national healthcare guidelines.

However, by using extra Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), having enhanced cleaning regimes, areas for sanitisation and maintaining a safe distance, our teams have managed to continue doing what they do best; delivering unrivalled levels of care.

We Use the Following Measures

We have gone above and beyond to guarantee that our prospective residents and their families are as safe as possible against COVID-19.

Screen Dividers

Our indoor spaces have been fitted with floor-to-ceiling screens and intercoms to provide a safe and secure manner for you to see your loved ones while remaining compliant to government regulations. Outdoor meeting spaces are still available; please contact us for additional information.

Social Distancing

We will be adopting social distancing here at Roselea Court Care Home in line with government rules and restrictions. Prospective residents and staff must maintain a gap of at least one metre between them wherever possible.

To reduce the risk of infection, all members of the team will wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face masks, aprons, and disposable gloves. All PPE complies with government and local authority regulations.

Video Calls

We will encourage residents and their friends and family to make long-distance video calls. We’ve invested in cutting-edge video call equipment so you can maintain contact and ensure you never miss a moment or a memory.

Sanitation stations have been built throughout Roselea Court Care Home. Future residents and guests will be advised to use our antibacterial gel on a frequent basis.

A Safe Premises

You can be certain that all COVID-19 measures are maintained, respected, and will never be compromised at Roselea Court Care Home.

Prioritising Our Resident’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing

Our number one priority is the health, safety, and wellbeing of our future residents. In response to COVID-19, we’ve put in place a number of measures aimed at lowering infection rates while keeping our soon-to-be residents as comfortable as possible.

Despite the difficulties, our highly trained staff will work tirelessly to provide a variety of COVID-19 appropriate activities to keep our residents active and entertained.

Staying Connected

We recognise the importance of human connection and support from loved ones for our initial residents’ mental and physical wellbeing, so ensuring we can keep residents and their friends and family connected during these turbulent times has never been more important.

Our future residents at Roselea Court Care Home will have access to a number of online devices that allow them to video call their friends and family. Despite the challenges we’ve had as a result of COVID-19, we’re working together to tackle them, and we’ll keep working to ensure that everyone has a variety of options for staying connected to the people closest to them.

Roselea Court Goes Above and Beyond

Our staff recognises the importance of getting to know each of our future residents and their families on a personal level in order to give the best possible care. We want to create an environment in which people feel safe, relaxed, and that their ideas and opinions are heard. At Roselea Court Care Home, we will work as a team to provide high-quality care and support to all of our prospective residents. During difficult times like COVID-19, we will go above and beyond to ensure that we are protecting our residents, keeping them connected, and providing them with a rewarding lifestyle.
