Giving Gloria the Bear a New Lease of Life

At Roselea Court Care Home in Stirling, our residents are our VIP's and we love to try and make their dreams come true.

Recently, one of our VIP's Cilla came to us with her 80-year-old teddy bear who was in need of some TLC and updating. Gloria the bear is a well-loved teddy and Cilla really wanted to keep her for as long as she could.

After a chat with our very artistic wellbeing coordinator Lynne, it was agreed that our VIP Cilla would let Gloria out of her sights for a short while to see whether Lynne could work her magic.

Our lovely and very clever Lynne spent some time tending to Gloria and as a result, she was brought back to life to the delight of Cilla.

Gloria has been given new paws and new stuffing, and we think we can all agree that she looks wonderful with her new dress and socks on. Seeing the smile on Cilla's face definitely made it all worthwhile.
