Making Dreams Come True, One Stitch At A Time

Margaret has had a love of knitting since she was a young girl. Over the years, she created all kinds of beautiful garments, but her greatest joy was always knitting baby clothes. She especially loved making tiny cardigans for her children, and later for her grandchildren, each one stitched with love and care.
After experiencing a stroke, Margaret was no longer able to enjoy the hobby that had brought her so much happiness. During a conversation with our Wellbeing Team, she shared that the thing she missed most was being able to knit. Determined to help Margaret reconnect with her passion, our Wellbeing Team purchased a wonderful knitting machine, making her dream of knitting again a reality. Seeing Margaret smile as she returned to doing something she loves has been truly heartwarming. Studies show that keeping in touch with hobbies such as knitting can increase enjoyment, reduce feelings of loneliness and promote meaningful interactions.
