Our First Bus Trip Out

Residents In The Back of Mini Bus
With our care home having only opened this year in January, it has been our goal to have our very own bus for trips into the local community.

We've been working towards it over the last few months and on the 3rd of November, we finally reached our goal!

Some of our residents had their first bus trip out with each other, visiting the bustling town of Callander for an explore and even an ice lolly.

It was a great trip for our residents, who enjoyed some fresh air and quality time together. The sun even showed its smiley side for the afternoon.

Residents have been able to enjoy trips into Stirling and the surrounding areas for the last 11 months, but now we are able to take more residents out together at the same time, which provides residents with many more opportunities to socialise together and make special memories.

At Roselea Court Nursing Home in Stirling, we understand the benefits that both socialising and getting out into the local community have on our residents. It encourages confidence, helps with communication, and boosts mood, and for those who have always lived in the local area, it is a great form of reminiscence. We are delighted to now be able to offer this service to our residents and their loved ones.

The residents reported back that they had a fantastic first trip on the bus and were left smiling when they returned. We are all looking forward to all future bus trips we have yet to come.
