No matter what age or interest, there is plenty for our residents to explore in and around Stirling. For those who want to learn about the history of Scotland, the brand new Battle of Bannockburn Experience is 5 minutes away and is a state-of-the-art 3d battle simulation. For more leisurely days out, Stirling Arcade offers a variety of high-quality eateries and a mix of high street and independent retailers.
We have a variety of things to see and do within our home too, such as a Hair Salon, Cinema and plenty of outdoor space. With both balconies and a garden, our outdoor areas are perfect for getting some fresh air, watching the wildlife, and catching a moment’s peace, especially ideal for our VIPs living with dementia. Residents can also enjoy the great outdoors not far from our home too, with The Queen Anne Gardens and Cambuskenneth Abbey, which is located next to the River Forth, which is less than 15 minutes from us.
At Roselea Court Care Home, we value the importance of a varied activities programme for all of our VIPs. By providing entertainment, activities, and days out, our residents keep engaged, stimulated, active and sociable, all of which are beneficial for one’s wellbeing. Our Activities Team goes to great lengths to create a programme that offers a wide range of activities that are inclusive for all of our residents.
With each and every VIP, we listen closely to their interest and hobbies, so that we can incorporate them into the weekly schedule. It is important to us that our VIPs can carry on doing the things they love, whilst having the opportunity to learn new skills, discover new interests, and meet new people.
For our VIPs with dementia, activities include playing board games, creating memory boxes, and inviting live music entertainers to our home. Activities such as these are a great way to alleviate negative emotions associated with dementia, such as stress and anxiety, and are also a great form of reminiscence.

This means our staff is able to offer a knowledgeable service, the right support, and identify when more advanced care is needed. Prior to moving into Roselea Court, our home manager arranges to have a consultation with prospective residents and their loved ones to offer them guidance and ensure this is the right path for them. When a resident joins our family, they will be provided with a personal care plan that is specific to their individual needs.
